Swami Vivekananda Shikshana Grameenabhivruddhi Hagu Vividoddesha Seva Samsthe is a non-profit organization established in 2014 in Mundargi Taluk, Gadag District, Karnataka. Our mission revolves around reducing poverty and empowering women by granting them access to economic opportunities, thereby facilitating their involvement in decision-making processes. Through our initiatives, we aim to elevate women to equal partnership roles in society's development journey. By providing economic avenues, we strive to foster a more inclusive and equitable society where every individual can contribute meaningfully. Our organization believes in the transformative power of education and economic empowerment in uplifting communities and fostering sustainable development. We are committed to realizing Swami Vivekananda's vision of social upliftment and empowerment through grassroots initiatives and community engagement. Together, we endeavor to build a future where every individual, regardless of gender or background, can thrive and contribute to the progress of society.

OUR MISSION
To reduce poverty and empower women in Mundargi Taluk, Karnataka. We provide economic opportunities and promote gender equality. Through education and empowerment, we aim for inclusive community development, following Swami Vivekananda's principles, towards a future of universal success and progress.
We work with women who reside in the villages and taluk of Mundaragi, to implement a program for their economic empowerment. By creating self-help groups and associations, imparting financial literacy, enabling access to microcredit, facilitating income-generating activities, we empower these individuals to become change agents.

Our NGO has designed and implemented many programs aimed at building capacity in various areas of development to enhance the quality of life of the youth. Computer Literacy Skills Training Program is one such opportunity. It is a capacity-building strategy that empowers individuals to become knowledgeable in the use of computer applications. Totally 67 youths have been benefitted through this program.
Free Training Programs by Our NGO in Mundargi
Our NGO organized a commendable initiative on March 27, 2024, providing free skill development training programs, including agriculture training and self-employment guidance, in Mundargi. The event aimed to empower individuals with valuable skills and knowledge, fostering economic independence and sustainable livelihoods within the community. Through these training programs, we strive to uplift and empower individuals to create a brighter future for themselves and their families.
Chief Minister’s Kaushalya Karnataka Yojane (CMKKY)
Chief Minister's Skill Karnataka Yojana (CMKKY) is a flagship scheme for learning short-term vocational skills to enable youth employment, self-employment, and entrepreneurship in Karnataka. We completely admire the effort and took initiative in this direction.
Tailoring Training Program
We organized a free tailoring training program for more than 35 women and helped them get employment. This initiative helps marginalized and deprived girls by imparting skill development training in tailoring, bag making, weaving, etc. so that the problem of unemployment ends and poor girls get sustainable livelihoods and thus become independent.
World Environment Day
We celebrated World Environment Day to encourage awareness and environmental protection by planting trees, in the presence of our team members in the Mundargi office.It is the small change that makes the biggest impact.
